Damask Texture Lighting with Blue Uplighting

damask lighting wedding texture lighting

Damask lighting on the wall with blue uplighting and pin-spots on the centerpieces.

Damask texture lighting on the walls help give a large space a touch of elegance for a wedding. It also helps cover up two large ugly cork boards that are located at the end of the room. Texture lighting helps cover up unsightly room features easily.

Blue wireless uplighting around the room helps give color and pull the decor items of the wedding together.

Pin-spots on the tables are the finishing touch making each of the centerpieces pop and bringing light to each of the guests tables. Using pin-spots with uplights is a great combination and brightens the center of the room for photos where the guests are.

Venue: Masonic Temple – Alexandria, VA

valentines day lighting

Pink and White Uplighting

valentines day lighting

Pink and white uplighting creates a soft elegant look.

Valentines day is this week and there is still time to create the perfect mood with our rental lighting.

This is a great example of how to rent battery uplighting to create a two color lighting look. In this example lights were set to two different remote controls and then one set was programmed to pink and the other set was programmed to white.

Pink and white work really well together to create a soft, balanced look that is perfect for dances, dinners, engagements and weddings.

When adding the additional color white it makes it feel less saturated and more elegant.

Pin-spot lighting was used on the centerpieces that really make them pop in this photo.

Venue: Army Navy Country Club

Frozen Themed Party Gobo Light

frozen themed party princess snowflakes blue stars

Frozen themed party gobo light with blisslight behind it.

The movie Frozen is a great place to pull inspiration for some pretty amazing party lighting ideas.

We combined a blisslight 15 rental  with a gobo light to create this magical Frozen inspired design and lighting concept for Emilia’s 5th birthday.

Using the blisslight behind the gobo light and design adds a unique moving element that enhances the Frozen feel by having a slow moving blue pattern and stars behind it.

We also recommend using blue battery powered uplights to help accentuate the frozen feeling as well in the room.

Get this look today and create your own Frozen party! Check availability for your party.

food display with blue uplighting

Blue Wireless Uplighting with Fresh Ideas Management

food display with blue uplighting

Blue wireless uplights help add interest to a food display.

Great example of blue wireless uplighting setup by Fresh Ideas Management  in Columbia, Missouri at an event that they catered. The uplighting added a nice touch to highlight the amazing food that they had created for their corporate event.

Our event was not a wedding, but rather a high-end party for a small corporate group. Brian and Superlative Events were so wonderful to work with! Very professional and extremely customer service oriented. The equipment I rented was top-notch and very simple to use. I will gladly rent again from Superlative! – Jami Jones, Fresh Ideas Management, LLC

Thanks again to Fresh Ideas for the great photo showing the lighting they setup at their event!

X-Games Aspen 2015 – Logo Lights

Xgames-2015-environmentalityPhoto of one of a few color gobo lights going out for the Winter X-Games in Aspen, Colorado that are running from January 22nd – 25th 2015.

We combined them with some of our battery powered uplights in our shop and grabbed a photo before we shipped them out.

Mixing together gobo lights with uplights is a great way to combine two lighting elements that work really well together.

blisslights compared in a video

Video of Blisslights Compared

What’s the difference between a Blisslight 15 and a Blisslight 50? How do the blue Blisslight models look like compared to the green ones?

We did a head to head test of the Blisslight 50 (Green), Blisslight 15 (Green), and the Blissilght 15 (Blue) to show you exactly what each light looks like under the same lighting conditions.

Blisslights were resting on the floor aimed up at a white ceiling. The ceiling was 6.5ft away from the light fixture. The room was 15ftx16ft and each light was able to more than fill the room at that distance with laser stars.

All Blisslights tested:
– Have a slow moving blue nebula effect that can be dimmed
– Nebula effect is approximately 2.5ft of diameter throw for every 1ft of distance to the source it’s projecting onto up to about 25ft x 25ft
– Stars slowly move
– Will easily cover the ceiling over any dance floor

The Blisslight 50:
– Much more powerful laser and multiple holographic elements that create a more realistic universe of stars.
– Effectively covers a 50ft x 50ft area (double the Blisslight 15)
– Needs to be used with a stand

The Blisslight (15) Blue:
– Stars appear more realistic in color
– Stars are slightly blurry compared to Blisslight Green versions

Check out our rent blisslights page for more information on reserving any of the blisslights for your event.
