Snowflake lights can be a great addition to your event and is popular in the winter time. These snowflake lights are a type of texture lighting and there are many different types and patterns to choose from.

Snowflakes are very popular to project on the walls of the venue or the dancefloor. Some of our clients have used out outdoor light to project snowflakes on the outside of buildings.

These photos show snowflake texture lighting in conjunction with wireless uplights. The uplights add a wash of color behind the snowflake effect.

Moving Snowflake Lighting

One way to make snowflake lighting more dynamic is by using the built in rotation switch on our rental lights. This allows for the snowflake pattern to slowly rotate. When used with multiple lights this effect can be really amazing.

Triple the Snowflakes

Our snowflake lights can make use of a special prism that mounts on the front of the light. This prism triples the number of snowflakes making for a really immersive, 3-D style snowflake effect.

Adding a prism is a must for moving snowflake patterns and will create the effect of the snowflakes swirling together. Using multiple lights overlapping together can create ?an immersive dynamic snowflake lighting effect.

Once Upon a Time Midsummer Night’s Themed Cake & Lighting

Fairytale Once Upon a Time Midsummer Nights Dream cake with texture lighting and cake spotlight. — Fairytale “Once Upon a Time” / “Midsummer Nights Dream” cake with texture lighting and cake spotlight.

Beautiful cake display with a fairytale “Once Upon a Time” or “Midsummer Night’s Dream” cake. There’s lot’s going on in the photo so we’ll breakdown the elements used to create it.

The purple lighting effect is from wireless uplights. This creates the base effect around the cake and throughout the room.
Texture lighting is the pattern that shows up on the pipe and drape behind the cake. In this photo a simple breakup pattern was used to create a light and dark dreamy feeling.
Pipe and drape was used behind the cake to soften up the wall that is normally there in the room.
Trees were brought in (venue actually had them in there) and put behind the cake. We hung fairy berries in the branches to create slowly glowing magical firefly effect.
Under the table lighting was achieved but using two of our wireless uplights.
Candles and flower petals were used around the base of the cake with a ?fabric wrap on the bottom of the cake stand to help feature the detail of the cake.
Cake spotlights were used to help the cake stand out in the room and completed the look.

These lighting elements combine to create a beautifully dreamy and elegant atmosphere turning the cake from just a dessert sitting in the dark into a decor piece.

St. Patrick’s Day is one of the most celebrated days of the year all around the world. Whether you’re actually Irish or just Irish for a day, March 17 is usually a day to eat, drink and be merry! Rental lighting is the perfect way to share the luck of the Irish with all of your St. Patrick’s Day party guests.

Rent Green Uplighting

Green uplighting will automatically transform your party space into the Irish Emerald Isle. Boring white community center? Bathe it in green uplighting. Dingy, dark and lifeless bar or pub? Completely green-ify it with green uplighting! Rent wireless uplights and use the built-in green color to completely transform your St. Patrick’s Day event with green walls and ceilings.
