New Fortune Restaurant in Gaithersburg, MD is a unique venue. It’s one of the few venues that can hold over 350 people in the DC area that is a great value for many couples compared to traditional hotel ballrooms. When you have that many people in this particular space that amount of space for lighting is at a premium. Our wireless battery powered uplighting is the perfect fit for this venue.
New Fortune Restaurant has a large airwall that divides the ballroom from the other restaurant side of the venue. Power outlets don’t exist along airwalls so generally you would have to run power cabling all along the wall. With these battery powered wireless LED uplights simply place the lights on the ground, turn them on, and choose the color on the wireless controller. The lights are very small (about the size of a standard red brick) and can fit just about anywhere. All of the purple light in the photo is from the uplights and the purple light that reflects back into the venue.
